I like to mix up what I read, too much light or too much dark gets boring. I don't think I've read a truly dark BDSM. I recently read Safeword: Matte which a reviewer cautioned was not for the faint of heart. While more than the usual BDSM spanking and mild bondage I usually come across, I didn't find it dark at all. After reading the excerpt, I'm think Bangkok Noir will be darker than that.

I loved the excerpt and the cover is wonderful. It is artfully done without be overly showing.
The excerpt was entrancing. The imagery and emotions flowed as if the characters were real. I intend to try to get this book. It has two of my favorite things, suspense and erotica in one book.
