I like the name change...but I am not quite sure what I think about the site itself. I tend to like brighter colors so the washed out sepia isn't quite as attractive to my eyes.
Wow what a dramatic change! Love the colors and great name!
I think the muted colors are an attempt as "elegance".
I like them better than the old colors, which were on a pale lavender theme.
Thanks, Colleen! Hope you'll visit them often ;^)
In all honesty, TB has the highest quality standards of any publisher I've worked with in my 14 year career.
Oh wow, like the new logo & the colors are great..
Looks nice

So many changes. I love them. It looks great.

I think the new site is GORGEOUS! It's easy to search, and see all the new releases so you can make the best choice of a new read. There's only one problem. I want them all!
I like the new logo, as for the new look it's a bit dull. And finding everything will take some time.
But all in all I think it's very well done.

The color scheme is easy on the eyes and it feels easier to navigate. The logo looks better too.

So many different changes, but so far am able to work through them.
I like it :) But then on the other hand, it was the first i've visited so I don't know what the old one looked like.
I love the new name and the new site. Both are great improvements for me, as the softer colours are easier on the eyes and the site is really easy to navigate.
Like the New Logo. However the Pale sepia with the type with the White Is Awful. I know they were going for elegant and reserved. Instead it comes out to ne as Incomplete and Not very well Designed. It does a great Job at making the books the primary draw for the eye.

Lovely new name and very sophisticated. I think it's great.
The old site did seem a bit over-the-top a lot of the time color- and photo-wise, so I like the understatedness and layout of the new one. Undecided about the logo...

I like their logo, the heart in the woman...totally get it. And beautiful covers!
I like it. It's much easier to navigate.
Hi, Beckey!
I think the logo is incredibly clever, myself.
Their old logo was confusing - nobody could figure out what it was trying to represent (it was an entwined couple). This one - well, it's much more obvious LOL.
Thanks for dropping by, BN!
Hi, Deb,
As I understand it (haven't tried yet), they've really streamlined the buying experience too.
Hi, Chrissy,
Thanks for dropping by! I know what you mean. TB should give authors a discount on other authors' books!
Hi, Ute,
I think "muted" or "subtle" is the intent, rather than dull!
Certainly the covers are bright..
Thanks, HB.
I think there are differing opinions on the color scheme LOL.
Hi, Sharon,
So many websites don't work at all well. It's always a pleasure to use one where the design has been well thought out.
Hi, Erin,
Well, I hope you'll come back and visit more often!
Thanks for the kudos, Ilona. Good luck in the drawing!
Interesting point. I don't find it hard to read, but others might agree with you.
Hey, Summer,
Thanks for dropping by and sharing your thoughts!
Hi, Trix,
Compared to some publishers, even the old site was restrained... but I think I like this design better. Thanks for dropping by.
And of course also a pen nib!
And yes, I agree, TB has excellent covers. They give authors a lot of input into the cover design.
Glad you think so! That was certainly the intention!
I wanted to mention a couple more things about Totally Bound that you might not be aware of.
- When you buy a book at TB you get access to all ebook formats - forever!
- TB can send books directly to your ereader (including Kindle and iPhone), just like the third party booksellers. BUT when you buy directly from the publisher, your favorite authors get a bigger piece of the pie.
- TB offers pre-general-release discounts on all its books. Books are released on the TB site for a month before the general release on Amazon etc. And if you buy from TB during that period, you get a 10% discount.
- TB is going to be offering special VIP content - only to readers who purchase through the TB site. Buy a book from TB and get extra scenes or chapters that nobody else gets to read!
- TB has an extensive list of free stories, including quite a few by me!
Whoa, completely changed! It'll take a bit to get used to, but I like it. Very subtle and classy.
Nice!
I love the nice, clean look and the slider!
Hi, everyone! I've drawn a winner. It's Ashley! Congratulations! I hope I have your email address, since you didn't leave it... ;^)
I've got another giveaway going on today (Sunday the 20th), by the way!
I actually liked the old name better, it was really creative. Not a huge fan of the site either, though I suspect it'll grow on me.
Correction to my long comment above. TotallyBound has changed their approach to rewarding readers. Pre-orders and pre-general-release purchases will not longer be discounted, but readers who buy from TB directly will enjoy gain reward points as well as enjoying a whole range of other benefits, including content available only to them.
For example, my upcoming release Her Secret Ingredient includes a sizzling bonus chapter that only TB VIP readers will see!
For more about Her Secret Ingredient, see my blog today at Normandie Alleman's!

(I've got a giveaway there, too!)
