I'm talking about the end of my feline shape shifter serial Cat Toy!
I just put the last chapter up on my website, on the free reading page:
http://www.lisabetsarai.com/freereads.html
If you're a fan of paranormal erotic romance, check it out.
It will only be available for a limited time, though. You have until the 31st of May to read the story for free. Then I'll be taking it down, editing it, and sending it off to Books We Love for publication.
Of course, it will be even better with one of BWL's fabulous covers. And their books are never more than $2.99. So I guess if you don't get to read the full saga before I remove it, it won't be the end of the world!

Alex sprang to her
feet and ran back into the house. Her bloody fingers trembled as they
fumbled over the phone’s numeric keypad. She somehow managed to
make the call. The dispatcher answered, but Alex’s erratic
breathing prevented her from finding a voice. Tears ran down her
cheeks. She sucked in a deep breath in an attempt to calm herself.
Her voice squeaked as she told the dispatcher her husband had been
stabbed.
Alex dropped the
phone receiver and ran back to Sam. She knelt next to him and propped
his head on her thighs. While she cradled his cold face between her
hands she swayed back and forth as she held his gaze.
“Stay with me,
Sam, don’t leave me. Stay with me, I love you.”
He stared up at her
with his bright green eyes. “I love you too.” His eyes darkened.
He labored for breath. “Listen to me, Alex, only trust Peter. Tell
him…tell him that…” he gurgled. Blood misted from his mouth and
coated his lips.
Alex heard sirens in
the distance, then closer. But it was too late. Sam was gone.

Sunday Snog #125: Exposure
Wow, is it really Sunday again? I've been so busy (mostly with the E.D.J.) that I hardly noticed. Time to offer you another sexy snog from my back list.
After you've enjoyed my snog, click back over to Victoria's Blisse Kiss Central for lots more delicious kisses.
The first bars of
the music free me from any anxiety. I fix my eyes on him and begin to
move. Graceful. Sensual. I’m extremely turned on, but I want this
performance to be classy, not raunchy the way I sometimes am.
The shoes go first.
Now I unfasten my jacket, lingering over each button. Building the
suspense. I’m wearing regular lingerie, flimsy and feminine,
instead of one of my costumes. My breasts are like melons, encased in
black lace. No padding or wires on this bra; my nipples are clearly
visible, pushing the fabric into sweet little peaks.
I do the classic
strip, turning my back and inching the skirt zipper down. Shimmying
the garment over my hips to my ankles. I feel his eyes on my rump.
When I turn back to face him, I try out the stare on him. The results
are mixed.
He’s not closed
off like his friend. I can see deep into his soul. I see passion,
hunger, clean and healthy. Not twisted and painful like some of the
guys at the lounge.
At the same time,
though, I feel like he sees into me. It’s like he’s touching me
inside, probing, trying to discover what I want. It’s strange and
very intimate. His eyes make my clit harden and my juices flow.
But my eyes are
doing the same to him. I can see the bulge in his tailored trousers.
His breath is coming a bit more quickly, too.
I unfasten the bra
in front. Instead of tossing it at him, which is my first idea, I let
it drift to the floor. I caress my breasts, as much for my own
pleasure as for his. I love their heaviness in my hands. I love the
way the skin shades to rich darkness at their tips. And the nipples
themselves, round and firm like the best Kalamata olives. I roll them
between my fingers, my breath starting to become ragged.
Finally, there are
just my bikini panties between me and nakedness. I hold off as long
as I can, letting the music build to its climax. At the crescendo, I
undo the ribbons at each hip, so the thing just falls away from my
body. For a moment I stand there proudly, my curly black pubic hair
glistening with my own moisture. Tony’s eyes devour me. Then the
music dies away. I sink to the carpet in a curtsy, strangely
exhausted.
I came here to
dance. Just a job. But now I want more. And so does Tony.
He lifts me up. He
embraces me. Neither of us speaks. We communicate only through the
kiss. His mouth feels gentler than it looks. He tastes like his
expensive scotch. I let myself relax, feel the stiffness of his
starched shirt against my bare skin. There’s more stiffness below.
He rubs his erection against my damp bush, making me damper still,
while his tongue plays with mine. His fingers lock on to my nipples,
pinching them until I squirm with pleasure.
This is certainly a
nice bonus. He strips off his shirt, pants, and briefs. He leaves his
socks on, and for once, I don’t mind. I usually think naked guys in
socks look ridiculous, but nothing so simple could spoil Tony
Pinelli. Reaching into his jacket pocket, he pulls out a condom. Of
course he’s prepared.
We’re both so hot
from my dance, we don’t bother with much foreplay. He sits back
down on the sofa and I straddle him. His latex-sheathed cock juts up,
lovely and stiff, between my thighs. With one smooth motion, I sink
down onto his hardness. I grip him with my thighs and we begin to
ride.
We climb quickly. In
this position, every thrust diddles my clit. He grabs me by the hips
and works me up and down on his rod. Then I take control for a while,
setting a fierce pace, building up to a grand finale.
His eyes are closed
now. But I think I still feel the touch of his mind, a gentle
contrast to our ferocious fucking. I close my eyes, too,
concentrating on the delicious sensations in my cunt, in my whole
body.
My thoughts are hazy
with lust, but something catches my attention. Some faint sound, some
sense that the air has moved. Then all hell breaks loose.

Elegant Smut Writing 101
By Nora Snowdon (Guest Blogger)
Thanks
for having me on your blog, Lisabet. As the Writer
of Elegant Smut, there are a few misconceptions about
my craft that I’d like to clear up. Writing straight smut is not
just continually describing heaving bosoms and throbbing manhoods
(love guns? joy sticks? turgid rods o’steel?) in sweaty
action.
Hell
no!
We
also have to write the part where the nerdy pizza delivery guy walks
up to the front door accompanied by cheesy 1970’s jazz music. The
door is then opened by a heavily made-up babe with over-inflated
boobs. (Note, if you’re ever on a sinking ship, stand next to
this woman. I bet those things are great flotation devices! But I
digress…)
The
point is, you need context for your smut. And if you are writing
Elegant Smut
(i.e. romance) you need to include even more details
not actually related to the boink-fests. A plot, for example, is
often considered important in romance. And with plot comes
characterization. Who are these star-crossed lovers and what exactly
is crossing their stars?
If
you’re writing a 75,000 word novel, you’d better have a pretty
good conflict tearing the two lusty protagonists apart. Otherwise
those wily orgasm-fueled stud/studettes will just keep sneaking back
for more sex, then regretting it and breaking apart again. And that’s
just bloody annoying. Having them split up because she was betrayed
in an earlier relationship and now doesn’t believe in love is waaay
too feeble. Or if someone tells him a lie about his new love and he
believes it and dumps her without finding out the truth, well then
that hero just isn’t worthy of romantic love in the first place.
Romance
readers are also a bloodthirsty lot. They want their heroes and
heroines to suffer mightily before overcoming great obstacles to
actually earn their happily ever after. Honest. Go to any
romance writer conference and you’ll find a multitude of workshops
on upping the conflict in your novels. Also talks by police officers,
coroners, and other emergency personnel on how to make horrendous
scenarios even worse and more realistic.
I
believe the problem is that we write our heroes to be such fabulous
catches that we figure only someone equally as brave and resourceful
should get to have them. No hopeless wallflower for our Superman.
Nosirreebob! (Well unless she delves deep to find her inner Wonder
Woman.) And then if you write an amazing heroine, the hero has to
up his game too. (Note, for these characters to resonate, they
should be realistic people like the reader and then, after being
tested by adversity, become the best that they can be, hence worthy
of the Greatest Love Ever. As, of course, all us readers would be if
only we had such ferocious dragons/demons/serial killers to slay.)
But
it’s important that we don’t lose the main point of having such
virile, virtuous and vivacious characters in our romance books. It’s
because we want to imagine having endless and mind-blowing sex with
these fabulous people ourselves. Romance rarely touches upon S.T.D.s
and erectile dysfunction because unfortunately they are way too
prevalent in real life. In our fantasies we’re still looking for
Erica Jong’s infamous zipless f—k. (And wow! That’s dating
myself…) As readers, we want to be caught up in the raging
desire, not the messy reality. As writers, we need to make that over
the top passion seem plausible. And just so you know, in real life,
nerdy pizza delivery guys don’t really get that much unexpected
action on the job. Just sayin’…
Please
feel free to leave a comment regarding either what you look for in
your smut books or if you have any other great euphemisms for sexy
man bits, and one commenter (who leaves their e-mail address)
will be drawn to win a copy of my new short story, My Hero. This
story is about a fabulous Writer of
Elegant Smut who pursues
the male model from her book cover. (Hint, things do not go well
for our heroine.)
Excerpt
from The French Resolution
Antoine
kissed her. Then he grabbed the wine and the food and headed to the
living room. “Have a seat. Eat. Then we will discuss the next few
days.”
She
appeared nervous at the proposition, so he popped a cracker with
Camembert into her mouth.
“D’accord.
We will discuss it now. I think you should stay here with me for the
next few days. I realize that if your father should come back, I will
have to return you, but I do not think the butler is a good enough
excuse. Tomorrow is Monday. I will have to do some business but not
for long. I will be in meetings on Wednesday, so you may use that day
to see old friends. I am willing to negotiate days off for good
behavior, but not nights. Is this acceptable?” Antoine stared into
her blue-gray eyes, willing her to agree. She paused long enough to
worry him.
“Does
this agreement include food? Because for a short person, I eat a
lot.”

What Are the Odds?
By Eric Rill (Guest Blogger)
I
had finished my first novel, Pinnacle of Deceit, and was
trying to get some blurbs for the back cover. I was in Montreal and
immediately thought of Kathy Reichs, a part-time Montreal resident,
New York Times best-selling author, and producer of the
ultra-successful television show, Bones. (Fair disclosure—this
was before the TV show.) So I went online and found her publisher’s
email address and sent a message, asking if she would read the book
and maybe offer a blurb.
Two hours later, I received a
personal email from her. Could this really be happening? Was I going
to get a great blurb? I had my wardrobe picked out for the premiere
of the movie based on my novel, even before I read the email. For
those few seconds, the new budding author had a novel that was going
viral. (Well, again, in the interest of full disclosure, they didn’t
use that word back then.)
Reality
set in very quickly, when I read her words—something to the effect
that her publisher doesn’t allow her to write blurbs on books from
other publishers.
Okay,
so I guess the movie would have to wait. Besides, we had a dinner
engagement that night, and I was already running late.
We
were the first to arrive. Suzanne, the hostess, was a designer and in
her previous career was a literary agent. I wanted to discuss the
blub situation with her. But that would also have to wait as the
doorbell rang and the other couple invited to dinner arrived.
Suzanne
introduced us—Kathy Reichs and her boyfriend, Bob. Come on, what
are the odds? When I asked if my name was familiar, she said, “Sort
of.” I reminded her of the emails a few hours before and we both
just laughed. The evening was great. She mentioned that her agent was
talking to a network to do a TV series based on her books. I asked
her who she would like to play her.
Frankly,
I forget the answer, but it was clear she wasn’t sure the deal
would get done.
No,
I never got a blurb, but she did come to my book launch.
Blurb
A
riveting new novel from Eric Rill, author of Pinnacle of Deceit
and The Innocent Traitor, is about a race against time. The
ticking time bomb is Saul Reimer’s sanity. His Alzheimer’s is
going to be the catalyst that will either bring his family together
or tear it apart.
Excerpt
It’s all unraveling.
Last
night, I found myself somewhere on Monkland Avenue. I had no idea how
I got there. I looked in a store window and saw my reflection. It
took me a bit to figure it all out—like that the person in the
window was a man, and that the man was me.
I
didn’t know what to do. I glanced down at the bracelet on my wrist
and everything— well, not everything, but the gist of it all came
back to me. I am Saul Reimer, formerly a healthy, intelligent man,
married to the same woman for many years, and the father of two
children he loves more than anything in the world.
The
key word is formerly, as I am sure you’ve already figured
out. Because today—and I have no idea what day it is, other than it
is really cold and I wish I had a jacket on—I am nothing, not a
real man, that’s for sure. I mean, how can you be a real man when
you don’t even know where you are half the time, and when you do
know, more often than not, you can’t grasp the concept of your
surroundings?
I
felt in my pocket for my wallet, but it wasn’t there. All I had was
my bank card. I spotted an ATM machine at the corner. But when I got
there, I couldn’t figure out how to work it. A woman walked up from
behind. I gestured for her to go in front of me. She smiled and said
she was in no rush. I looked at the machine, with all the words
flashing across the screen. My hands were getting slimy, and beads of
that wet stuff covered my forehead. Why couldn’t she just go first?
Then
suddenly, it all made sense. I followed the directions, but it took
me a few tries to get the card into the machine with the strip the
right way. I looked behind me again. The woman was fidgeting with her
purse strap. Then the machine asked me for a personal identification
number. The good news is, I knew I had one. The bad news is, I had no
idea what it was. My brain is like a shortwave radio, mostly static
that occasionally finds the station, but even then the sound isn’t
always clear.
In
a way, it will be a blessing when my mind is totally gone, when I am
a vegetable, slouched in a wheelchair. Like many Alzheimer’s
patients on Montreal’s West Side, I’ll probably make a pit stop
at Manoir Laurier. Then, when Manoir Laurier can’t cope with me, or
we can’t afford it anymore, they’ll ship me off to Belfrage
Hospital, my final stop on this beloved earth. I’ll be there,
incontinent, drooling, and incoherent—that is, if I can even manage
to get a word through my blistered lips. And when it’s all
over—when my heart finally gives out, or I contract pneumonia, and
my family says, “Let Saul go; he deserves some peace”—when that
happens, they’ll take me down to the autopsy room, cut my skull
open, and find the tangles and plaques on my brain. Then they will be
able to say with 100 percent certainty that Saul Reimer had
Alzheimer’s.

Fresh Tarts
By KC Vixen (Guest Blogger)
Firstly I would like to thank Lisabet
for allowing me to post here.
Now an introduction, I am a new, well
make that very new, Erotic Romance author. I write under the name of
KC Vixen, oh yes, I am bit of a foxy lady. I am a long time published
author in other romantic genres, but a writing friend, Lacey Roberts,
suggested I try my hand at writing an erotic romance. I did, and I am
hooked.
I have so far published two novellas,
The Schooling Of Virgins and Satan’s Wench, and a
third is almost finished.
I don’t know whether I have been
walking around with my eyes closed never noticing a thing, but
yesterday something strange happened.
My hubby loves grocery shopping. He can
wander around for hours looking at things, says it relaxes him, while
I am trailing along behind him grinding my teeth, because I hate it.
My husband had heard of a new shopping mall opening up and he was
eager to try it. Grudgingly I went with him, but I refused to go into
the supermarket with him. Hell, I had been in the middle of a great
sex scene for my upcoming story when he suggested we go out. The
juices had been really flowing (in more ways than one).
I stood outside the supermarket fuming.
What a waste of time I thought. Anyway, I glanced across to the other
side of the shopping mall and at the top of the window, I saw a sign
and I burst out laughing. I couldn’t see what type of shop it was
because there were several people standing around blocking my view
but I was able to read – Fresh Tarts. Obviously a cake shop, or
maybe not?
The Schooling of Virgins
In a cloistered, 17th
century English village, a young woman’s virginity is prized above
all else. Fraternisation with Outsiders is forbidden.
Emma’s cruel guardian, Gideon Batlow,
rules the maidens of his kingdom with zealous piety, the sting of his
cane on their bare buttocks, and the enforced wearing of crotch
straps. Can Emma escape Gideon’s shackles, and find passion with
the man she loves? An Outsider.

Satan's Wench
Alexander Satan owns the Pleasure
Palace, an exclusive gentleman’s club where carnal delights abound.
Emerald is the auburn haired beauty he
rescued from the sea. While training her to become his sex slave, they unwittingly
fall in love.
When Emerald is captured by Slave
Traders, will Alex be prepared to give up his hedonistic lifestyle to
save her?
Excerpt from Satan's Wench
“Mas’r,
Mas’r.”
Where
the hell had Samuel been all this time? And how dare he yell out like
that. Alexander Satan strode from his study. I’ve
a damn mind to whip his black ass.
He
skidded to a halt in the vaulted hallway. His man was dripping wet
and he carried a girl in his arms. She was drenched also.
“Found
her in the water near the cove, Mas’r,” he panted. “Her nearly
drowned, must be off the whore ship that sank.”
The
girl was barefoot. She only wore a torn, stained shift and her pubic
hair was clearly shown off by the wet, almost transparent cloth. Her
long auburn tresses trailed over Samuel’s arms like liquid fire,
and Alex’s groin tightened.
“Take
her to the kitchen,” he said. If she hadn’t been such a beauty he
wouldn’t have followed Samuel to the kitchen, but he couldn’t
resist the urge to gaze upon this wench’s naked body.
Samuel
laid the girl on the scrubbed kitchen table. “Now get your own
clothes off before you catch a chill, Alex ordered. As Samuel
stripped off his sodden jacket and bent down to pull off his
ballooning trousers, Alex glanced at his back. The criss-crossing
scars and puckered skin bore testament to the numerous severe
whippings he had received from a previous owner.
“Get
something to dry her with.” Hell’s teeth, Samuel was well hung.
His black dick stretched ten inches or more. It was secured on one
side by cock rings attached to a band on his inner thigh to prevent
from him getting an erection.
The
wench was unconscious, little wonder with a huge bump on her
forehead. The shift was ruined so he ripped it from her and threw it
on the floor. Her skin was white and smooth as the finest porcelain,
her breasts were high and tight, crowned with dusky pink nipples. A
tantalizing wedge of auburn pubic hair had him stretching out his
hand to tweak some of the curls, before he slid his finger into her
clit.
Samuel
returned with towels. Alex snatched them out of his hands and started
drying the girl. No, not a girl, she was a young woman. Seventeen or
so, if he was any judge. She whimpered and her eyes flickered open.
He had never seen such a brilliant green before.
“Get
some clothes on man. I’m sick of looking at that big black dick of
yours.” Samuel, grinning, bent down and pulled on the harem type
pants he always wore indoors.
Her
naked body was flawless, her skin smooth as fine porcelain, her rose
tipped breasts creamy mounds of perfection. Her stomach was flat and
smooth, her legs and thighs slim and shapely. He felt an
overwhelming desire to bury his face in the triangle of pubic fluff.
He wanted to open her, part the soft pink lips guarding her female
recess and slide his tongue into her lush clit, to taste the sweet
nectar he felt sure he would find there. Hell’s teeth, he
admonished himself. Stop behaving like a cunt-struck youth.
He
couldn’t remember ever having seen a more exquisite wench. He
dried her hair first, lifting the gossamer strands up before dropping
them. They tumbled over her shoulders and splayed out over her
chest. Carefully he patted her body dry with the towel, lifting up
her breasts, rubbing the nipples until the pale ruby buds burst forth
from their dusky areolas. Squatting down he slid the towel up her
legs. He was shocked to notice a tremor in his hands by the time he
reached her inner thigh.
His
forehead rested against her belly, he only had to stick out his
tongue. He clenched his teeth, nudged her thighs apart with one hand
and gently dried her. She smelt of salt, sand and woman.
He
fought to control the rising desire her naked beauty aroused in him.
His cock felt hard, a huge bulge straining against the cloth of his
pants. His balls became sensitive, almost painful as they tightened
in his crotch.
She
was awake now, glancing around with fear filled eyes.
“What’s
your name?”
He
got a blank green eyed stare. “I…I don’t know,” she said in a
soft English midlands accent.
“What!”
“Where
am I?”
“At
my home, I’m Alexander Satan.” Bastard son of Lord Trengowey and
a tavern wench, he could have added, but didn’t. Hatred rose up in
his breast every time he thought of the injustice perpetrated on his
mother.
His
cock throbbed now. Why in the hell didn’t he spread the wench’s
legs and take her right here and now in the kitchen? Impale her on
his throbbing cock, letting the weight of her body push him into her
deepest most succulent depths? She was only a harlot off Jacque’s
sunken whore ship, and his friend and partner would have no such
qualms. He vigorously tried out every slave woman he bought off the
auction blocks of New Orleans, before shipping the best of them to
England to work in his exclusive men’s club. The wealthy clients
who frequented the Pleasure Palace paid high prices and expected the
best, and that is what they got. Every sexual whim was catered for,
every carnal desire satisfied, by beautiful, skilful women.
