Welcome to my March Newsletter! No, I'm not above bribing you to read by offering you some eye candy... but I've also got lots of exciting info to share.

New and Upcoming Releases
 
Since my last newsletter, less than four weeks ago, I've released two new books in very different genres. And I have a full schedule stacked up for the next six weeks!

Right now, I'm celebrating the publication of my very first single author F/F book, The Witches of Gloucester. This story (about 12,000 words) was originally written for my upcoming F/F collection Her Own Devices. I wanted some variety, since most of the stories in that book are realistic, contemporary pieces about couples. In contrast, Witches is a paranormal fantasy piece with a light-hearted tone, and features a threesome of delicious heroines. The publisher, however, felt that Witches would do better as a stand-alone title. Perhaps she thought it was too different from the rest of the stories. The third volume of my D&S Duos series is also available now. This book includes two female-dominant stories, "Be Careful What You Wish For", and "Layover". You won't find stereotyped harsh mistresses in corsets and stilettos in these tales, though. My heroines wield more subtle forms of power—and the heroes love it.

And that's just the beginning. Here's a rough schedule of my releases coming up:

• late May - Coming Together: Outside the Box, including my M/M story "To Boldy Go"

I will be doing a blog tour for The Eyes of Bast the last week in April, with some fantastic prizes. Also, I'm working on a collection of paranormal short stories which should be out by May.

Free Reading and Other News

This month's free read is one of my oldest BDSM romance stories, and one of my favorites: Wednesday Night at Rocky's Ace Hardware. Dominance and submission well-sweetened with love—check it out.

Speaking of free (and BDSM...), I also have links on the free reading page to a brand new book of kink entitled Beyond 50 Shades. This 200-plus page book, edited by award-winning D.L. While we're on the subject of awards, Cheyenne Blue's wonderful lesbian anthology Forbidden Fruit: Stories of Unwise Lesbian Desire has been nominated for a prestigious Lambda Literary Award. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

My March pick of the month is Big Ed's Place. Big Ed Magnusson is one of my colleagues from the Erotica Readers & Writers Association. Ed writes ferociously intelligent, consistently arousing erotica, often touching on difficult subjects like addiction and loneliness. His site is a joy to navigate; the wonderful manga-style art work is a bonus. (He also has an explicit photo gallery with images of his characters.)

Okay, so it's the last day of March and here I am posting my newsletter... Honestly, I have a good excuse. Several, actually!

First of all I was hacked and I've been busy trying to make my website more secure. That's why Lisabet's Fantasy Factory (http://www.lisabetsarai.com)  has been down for the past week or so.

Second, and more pleasantly, I'm off on a long foreign trip starting next Tuesday, so I've been unbelievably busy getting all my responsibilities cleared away before we leave.

So this will be just a quick update, to let you know what's been going on and what you can win during April!
Since my last newsletter, I've published a newly edited version of my erotic thriller Exposure, which features my feisty stripper heroine, Stella Xanathakeos. Stella is just minding her own business and having a bit of fun, working as an exotic dancer at the Peacock Lounge. Through no fault of her own, she witnesses a double murder and gets pulled into a shady dance of deceit with political bigwigs, mob bosses, dirty cops and scheming widows. Now she's everyone's target; her only chance is to sift through the lies and expose the truth.

Other News

One thing that has kept me busy over the past month is a relaunch of the new and improved Oh Get A Grip blog. We've expanded our roster to ten contributors, with fresh, exciting content every week day. New members include Desiree Holt, Cari Silverwood, Sacchi Green, Giselle Renarde, Amanda Earl and the infamous Daddy X. With this crew, I expect the Grip to be more outrageous than ever. As usual, we'll all be posting on the same general topic for a period of two weeks at a time. The next topic, starting Monday April 1st, is "Procrastination".

On other fronts, I've almost finished my story for the Tied to the Billionaire anthology, entitled The Gilded Cage. It's a bit different from what you might expect, set around the turn of the twentieth century when America first became a world power and huge fortunes were made by the likes of Andrew Carnegie, John Rockefeller and the other so-called "robber barons". My hero, Andrew MacIntyre, has more money than he knows what to do with. However, there's one thing his wealth can't buy - a willing partner to fulfill his perverse fantasies. Labor activist Olivia Alcott seems an unlikely candidate for this role, but appearances can be deceiving. The tale plays out in one of the fabulous Gilded Age mansions in Newport, Rhode Island. In case you're unfamiliar with these extravagant edifices, here's a photo, from Wikipedia, of The Breakers, one of the largest and most luxurious.

I can't believe it's March already! February simply slipped by without my realizing it. To compensate, I've got some great free reads and two contests.

New and Upcoming Releases

I'm afraid I have no releases this month. But I'm working hard on new material!

My short story collection Just a Spanking is doing really well - fuelled partly by the free promo days that have been arranged by the publisher, Books We Love. If you haven't got your copy yet, the book will be free again on April 5th and 6th. Just how kinky can things get? Click here to find out!

I've submitted a BDSM romance story called "Limits: A Love Story" to Kristina Wright, for her Best Erotic Romance 2013 collection. Obviously I won't know for a while whether that's been accepted. Right now I'm working on a tale targeted at D.L. King's femdom anthology Under Her Thumb. And I've got a couple of other projects simmering on the back burner, including a M/F BDSM novella entitled Mastering Maya and a steampunk/Bollywood/BDSM/shapeshifter/ménage tale. (I've challenged myself to pack as many genres as possible into one book!)

Other News

We gave away dozens of prizes during "Share the Love" month at Beyond Romance. The grand prize winner was one of my long time readers, Juliana. She received a $50 gift certificate to All Romance EBooks. Meanwhile, I hope we managed to encourage readers to check out the fantastic charity reading available from Coming Together

Speaking of charity, my good friend Victoria Blisse has a special event coming up the week of 25 to 31 March. During the Blisse Kiss With Heart festival, a slew of fabulous authors (including yours truly, of course) will be sharing kiss excerpts on their blogs and giving away fantastic prizes. All kiss excerpts have to be from a story that supports some worthy cause. I will be giving away two print books to my winners. In my free reading section this month, I've got more sexy and romantic BDSM with my story Twister. Dangerous weather has never been so much fun. I've also added a poem, entitled 11:15 and Here's Your Poem about a threesome that didn't quite happen.

I'm running two contests this month, to make up for the fact that my newsletter skipped February. The first is super easy. I want to know if you are aware of the controversy triggered by PayPal's attempts to censor ebooks sold by Smashwords, All Romance Ebooks and other independent booksellers.
