Live It, Love It, Write It! (#ageplay #charity #daddydom)

Calliope cover

By Breanna Hayse (Guest Blogger)

Hi, Ya’all!

Thank you so much for having me here today and allowing me to introduce myself and the slightly ‘different’ path I take to writing.

From my first publication in 2012 to now, I’ve put out over 55 titles—every one of them different, unique and with a special purpose. What’s that? As a BDSM lifestyler, I want my readers to be entertained but also trust they will get truth and reality of the BDSM/Age-Play/Total Power and Erotic Exchange lifestyle in my books. My hope is that they not only walk away entertained (and a little horny), but also wanting more.

I don’t think there’s a genre of erotica that I don’t enjoy writing; hence, I’ve developed an extensive collection that ranges from Historical Victorian to Science Fiction, Contemporary/Historical Westerns, Humor, Post-Apocalyptic, Fantasy and everything in between. My readers are smart (and a little sadistic) and don’t hesitate to let me know EXACTLY what they want—and I do my best to make them happy. My readers are everything to me and I strive to provide something for everyone. I’ve also published non-fiction pieces that share how I was introduced to the Age-Play lifestyle (The General’s Little Angel and A Little Play Day). In the spirit of paying it forward to my first Dom who not only blistered my tail, but saved my life, the proceeds from The General’s Little Angel have been donated to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

I’m known best for my Age-Play books and my spanking/sex scenes. Each book has different heat levels appropriate for the story and always involve committed relationships, including those with multiple and/or same sex partners, consensual (except in horror/post-apop where the bad guy always gets his in the end—sometimes literally!), and have a strong story line that keeps the reader engaged and invested in the characters.

Warning—most of my readers say that they cry at the end and then spend the rest of the day looking like clowns because they can’t stop smiling.

The particular book I am highlighting today, Calliope’s Little Conquest, is the first of the Saddlesore Ranch series. It also holds a special part in my heart because of its origin. In my ‘vanilla’ life, I work as a pediatric hospice nurse and a pro-bono Veteran’s Administration therapist for those involved in alternative lifestyles. As a result, many of my characters and stories are inspired by my clients and their situations. About a year ago, I was working with a single HIV+ mom who was dealing with extensive custody issues because of her disease. She introduced me to Hope for Tomorrow, a recovery center in Illinois who had helped her and so many others and asked me to write a book that would share the struggle that she endured.

So, I did.

All my books have HEA, regardless of the underlying theme. Finding the HEA in this one, however, was a struggle. It wasn’t until I attended her funeral earlier this year that I knew what was needed. I watched the love and support that the members of the LGBT community gave to her sister and four-year old son. They held nothing back in showing their love. They stepped in to repair her house, donated legal assistance, bought groceries, and became aunts and uncles to the little boy. I’ve also never seen so many Build-A-Bears in my life!

Calliope needed a village to help her come to terms with the things in her life. Having a Daddy Dom gave her the love and confidence she needed to push forward, but the extended family that consisted of characters from many of my previous contemporary BDSM books, gave her the strength of hope.

The first month’s proceeds from Calliope’s Little Conquest will be donated to Hope for Tomorrow. This charity operates safe, nurturing facilities for adults suffering from psychological and/or substance abuse issues. I will also donate fifty cents from the ongoing sales for every comment/review the readers leave on the purchase venues, this post, twitter, or other social media. Just point it out to me! Words have power—and this type of power can give a little boy or girl some hope for tomorrow.

With all of this, we come to the question:

What's a Daddy-Dom to do when he discovers that his little girl has been keeping a dirty little secret?

In Calliope’s Little Conquest, Calliope Wharton has made a lot of mistakes in her life, including running away from home. She comes face-to-face with a life-changing consequence and is forced to return to her family in the little town of Bandara, Texas and gears herself to face conflict and judgment for her actions. She is shocked to find not only love and acceptance, but an unwanted romance that involves a close family friend, Tanner Perkins.

Tanner, the owner of the new Saddlesore Ranch and BDSM resort, has a gift. He can sense a submissive heart from a mile away. So, when Callie suddenly appears after a three-year absence, he is immediately on the alert. Whether she likes it or not, he sets his mind on helping the wayward girl make some necessary changes in her life.

Tanner not only trains horses and their riders, but he also knows how to tame a wild filly, and the lesson often starts with a trip over his knee. What he didn't expect was Callie bringing out his 'Daddy Dom'. He introduces her to the nurturing love of the age-play dynamic and teaches her how to laugh and play once again. Little by little, he woos Callie into 'tasting' the delicacies of his lifestyle and a place of healing.

Although aware of the relationship Callie had shared with a man of her past, Tanner is ill-prepared when that same man appears at their door and exposes a secret that the girl had shared with no-one. Caught between her new-found love for Daddy Tanner and her obligation to the man who saved her life, Callie is at a crossroads. Does she embrace this new lifestyle and risk the loss of the one person she has loved more than life itself?

Her quandary increases when she meets several of Tanner's old friends, including Dorian and Meredith Graye (The WhipMaster), and Layton, Caine and May Marshall (Two Guardians for Little May/Dr. Daddy Dom). These, and many others who live the BDSM dynamic, come together and show Callie that it takes a loving and formidable army, and a strong-willed Daddy Dom, to raise a Little Girl.

This standalone is the first the Saddlesore Ranch series and includes spanking of adult women and explicit adult sexual encounters.

Excerpt

Tanner’s confession to cheating meant that the game was on. To keep things fair, they both kept a record of the number of strokes to get the ball in the hole, but other than that, all rules went out the window. She caught him with several green balls stuffed into his front pockets that he innocently insisted were ‘anatomical.’ Snorting, Callie wrestled one out of his pants and, in the process, encouraged the emergence of his true anatomy! Reddening, she pulled her hand out of his pocket and turned away as he adjusted himself.

“You act like you’ve never been around men before. These things are unavoidable when a pretty girl gets too close and starts feeling around. It’s not your fault you woke him up.”

“Stop gloating and tell that thing to go back to sleep. I’m here to play with these balls and these alone.” She held up a yellow golf ball.

“Where did you get that? Your color is pink.”

She quickly pulled a pink ball out of her bra. “It is pink. You’re color blind.”

“You’re bad.”

“Yeah, and what are you going to do about it?” she asked saucily, sauntering over to the hole and absently kicking his ball out of the way.

Oh… if only she knew when she asked that question!!!

About Breanna Hayse

So what makes me, well, me?

I’m a native Californian gone 'wild', and had the opportunity to travel the globe and discover the world through the eyes of both a Marine Intelligence specialist and a BDSM lifestyler. I left the service to go into hospice nursing and grief counseling, eventually working as a marriage and family therapist for those involved in alternative lifestyle development. This experience has allowed me to gain unique inspiration for my books and provide realistic plots and relatable characters.

In 2004, my husband, John, and I joined forces to work with both submissives and dominants- teaching, training, listening and loving. Our goal was to take the mystery and fear out of the lifestyle and mentor people in safe, consensual and healthy relationships.

My first book, The Game Plan, was published in 2012 and opened the door to the now-booming world of Age-Play literature. Since that time, I’ve devoted my ‘spare’ time to writing, researching, community involvement, and private and group pro bono counseling in deviant behavior, alternative lifestyle, and addiction recovery.

I was formally ‘dungeon trained’ as a Domme before discovering my submissive side when I joined the service. My scenarios are pulled primarily from either personal experience or observation, including spending time in clubs as the safety/medical officer. My multi-faceted background allows me to glean from many avenues and provides a unique and intelligent literary experience through elements of fantasy and fiction. I also address the questions and psychology of the lifestyle in a manner that is fun and informative, and based on 'the real deal'.

I live with my husband, musician, and fellow-author, John Hayse, and two border collies in southern California. We practice a 24/7 D&S relationship with speckles of AP (and many trips to Build-A-Bear), and happily spend every moment together that we can. My hobbies include my puppies, hiding my vanilla salt-water taffy where John can't find it, exotic art, collecting inspirational trinkets, and developing my own paddle line. You can also see me as a featured author/instructor in professional conference settings and as a Sexpert for kinkyliterature.com.

An Interview with Daddy Dom Hunter Baldwin

By Normandie Alleman (Guest Blogger)

Thanks for letting me stop by today Lisabet and share my new release, Poor Little Daddy’s Girl, with you. It's the story of a firefighter who tries to tame a wild wealthy socialite after he rescues her from a fire she unwittingly set herself. Though he’s appalled by Charmaine’s careless behavior, he can’t deny his attraction to her and decides he must take her in hand.

Today, we get to know our sexy hero a little bit better in this character interview with firefighter and Daddy Dom Hunter Baldwin.

Describe your best and worst quality.

Best quality? I’m very protective, and I’ve dedicated my life to keeping other people safe. My worst quality is that sometimes I can be too rigid and hard on people.

What is your biggest secret no one knows about?

I hate public speaking.

What are you most afraid of?

Something bad happening to Charmaine or my mother.

What do you want more than anything?

To head up the firefighter’s academy.

How would you describe your sense of fashion?

Haha. I’ll just put on whatever is clean, or even whatever passes “the sniff test”. If we go somewhere nice, Charmaine picks out my clothes. I’m happy in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt.

Would you ever date someone who was opposite of you?

(Laughs) Well, I dated Charmaine, and we’re opposite in a lot of ways.

How did that turn out? No spoilers!

You’ll have to read the book and see.

What challenges did you have growing up?

My dad died when I was young. That was hard. I felt like I had to become the man of the house from the time I was ten. I’ve always been very protective of my mother, and when I grew up I guess that transferred over to my work.

What do you consider to be your greatest achievement?

Becoming a firefighter.

What is your most marked characteristic?

I’m very driven and focused.

What is your idea of happiness?

I like to constantly challenge myself, and since I have a job and a woman that provide daily challenges for me – that makes me happy.

Describe a perfect day.

It would start with a great save at work. One of those days where you know you really made a difference in people’s lives. Then I’d go home and do a sexy scene with Charmaine. I love trying new things with her, keeping her a little off balance.

What is it you most dislike?

Dishonest people.

If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?

I’d like to be more tolerant and maybe a little more easy-going.

What is the characteristic you like most in a man?

Loyalty

What is the characteristic you like most in a woman?

I need loyalty in a woman too, but God help me, I like ‘em feisty.

What’s sexy to you?

When a strong, confident woman submits to you. There’s nothing as enticing as the trust reflected in her eyes.

What is your motto?

When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

****
Thanks for the interview, Hunter!

Blurb

Twenty-four-year-old Charmaine Bainbridge appears to have it all—beauty, fame, and tremendous wealth—yet behind all the glitz and glamor hides a sad little girl who has been abandoned by every man she’s ever loved.

When firefighter Hunter Baldwin saves Charmaine from a fire in her penthouse apartment—a blaze started by her own carelessness—he’s appalled by her nonchalant attitude. Forced to carry her to safety, he throws her over his shoulder, but not before correcting her behavior with a well-deserved spanking. Something about Charmaine arouses him deeply, and it isn’t just her gorgeous looks. This girl needs to be firmly corrected and thoroughly dominated, and a part of Hunter demands that he be the one to take her in hand.

Though he’s used to charging into burning buildings on a daily basis, Hunter knows taming Charmaine’s wild ways may prove to be his greatest challenge yet. Undeterred, he takes on the role of Charmaine’s daddy dom in hopes of breaking down her defenses and healing her wounds. But can she bring herself to open her heart to him, or will she remain the lonely little rich girl forever?

Publisher’s Note: Poor Little Daddy’s Girl is the third book in the Daddy’s Girl series. It incorporates characters from the first two books in the series, but it is a stand-alone novel. This book includes spankings, sexual scenes, BDSM content, and more.

Excerpt

He hauled her toward an old freight elevator and they climbed on. The gate clamored shut and the rickety contraption began to ascend.

“Are you sure this thing is safe?” she asked, biting her lip.

“Yeah,” he chuckled. “I’ve only gotten stuck in here a few times.”

She stared at him open-mouthed. “You’re kidding. A few times?” The elevator jerked and they swayed from side to side, causing anxiety to replace the butterflies in her stomach.

“Nope. But we’ve got our cell phones.”

“Crap, I left mine in my purse, and I think I left it at the bar.”

“For real? You left your purse?” he looked at her with disappointment.

She nodded. “Well, you threw me off in the bathroom…with the…” her voice trailed off. Dammit, they’d been getting along so well and now he’d have another reason to fuss at her. Not to mention she’d have to spend the next couple of days figuring out how to cancel all her credit and debit cards. Ugh. She needed to hire an assistant to help her deal with crap like that.

Before they were out of the elevator, Hunter called the bar. While he waited for them to pick up he asked her to describe her purse.

“Baby blue Birkin,” she said.

“Baby blue Birkin,” he said into the phone with a puzzled look on his face. She giggled. When he said it, it sounded like a tongue twister. Clearly he’d never heard of the most expensive handbags in the world. But why would he have? More than likely it was a good thing he didn’t know that she’d left a thirty thousand dollar bag behind. He’d kill her. Hell, he probably hadn’t made that much money all of last year. Yeah, better he didn’t know.

He ended the call and the elevator stopped. He opened the gate for her, and she stepped out into the open space of his apartment. The furnishings were spare, but mostly of decent quality—an easy chair, a leather club chair, what looked to be a comfortable sofa, and a distressed wood coffee table outfitted the main room. A few items looked as if they might have come from a flea market, but for the most part she was impressed. The place was neat and tidy, which told her he was proud of his domain.

“You’re in luck. They found your bag and the manager already put it in the back. You can go by tomorrow and pick it up.”

“I’ll send Rollins,” she said.

“Who’s Rollins? And you’re welcome by the way,” he said.

She reached her lips up to kiss him on the cheek. “Thank you. He’s my driver.”

“You have a driver?” he looked at her like the idea was absurd. “What are you, Miss Daisy? Who needs a driver?”

She tilted her chin primly. “I do.”

“What in the world for, don’t you know how to drive?” He stared at her as if she were nuts, and inside she felt a twinge of delight. She loved to push people’s buttons.

“If you must know, I’m a terrible driver for one, and for two, I like to enjoy a cocktail from time to time. You wouldn’t want me behind the wheel inebriated would you?”

He considered this. “I guess not. Here.” He pulled a knife from his back pocket and showed it to her. “I’m going to cut you loose.”

“Are you sure you can trust me?” she laughed.

With one quick pass he sliced the thick plastic bands and they fell to the floor. “Trust you to do what?”

She shook her arms. As much as she’d enjoyed their little game, it did feel good to have that freedom of movement back. “Not to run away,” she teased.

He folded up the knife and placed it back in his pocket before taking her in his arms. “Oh, I’m not worried about that. You’re not going anywhere.” His lips descended upon hers and she let herself fall against him. The butterflies in her stomach fluttered, churning up a deep, ripe lust.

His hand dipped down, and he reached under her skirt, gliding a hand across her skin, over her hips and ass. Suddenly, she remembered the last time his hands had been all over her ass, spanking her cheeks then rubbing them with his comforting touch once he’d soundly spanked them. Was he thinking about that right now the way she was?

Without preamble, he lifted her dress over her head and tossed it on the floor. She stood there in her expensive cream-colored bra and panties with light blue accents. Stretching her arms above her head she asked, “Should we adjourn to the bedroom now?”

He chuckled and shook his head no. “You’d like that wouldn’t you?” He circled her slowly. “You’re quite a tiger. But you’ve come to the wrong place if you think you’re going to call the shots with me. Go stand behind that chair,” he said pointing to an easy chair in the middle of the room that faced a big screen TV.

It had been a while since she’d been around a man who had the confidence to order her around. Had Preston been the last? Possibly, she thought, and walked over to his chair, wishing he’d chosen the leather. This one was so ugly it should be illegal. She stared at the oversized monstrosity hoping it wasn’t velour.

“Put your elbows on the back of the chair, lean over and stick your ass out.”

His words alone were enough to get her wet, and she forgot all about her misgivings about the chair. She did as he asked, feeling a thrill as she realized he’d be able to see her arousal from behind her. Her tiny panties wouldn’t hide that.

He inched his body behind hers so he almost touched her. His scent, pine and cedar mixed with a manly musk, drifted under her nostrils and she breathed it in and wanted more.

As if sensing her need, he pressed his legs against hers. With one arm around her waist he pulled her rear back against him, and fondled her breast with his free hand. Her nipples strained against the soft fabric of her bra, nerve endings coming alive, relishing his touch. He nuzzled the sensitive spot behind her ear and nibbled her earlobe. “Damn, you’re too attractive for your own good,” he growled into her ear. A quiver of excitement danced down her spine, and she ached for him to touch her pussy.

“So are you,” she said, nudging her ass back against him. She could feel his erection straining at his jeans, and she wanted it, didn’t have the patience to wait.

He kissed her neck then stood up and backed away from her. “Must you have a response for everything?” he asked testily.

“It’s called having a conversation,” she said smartly.

“Well, do you want to have a conversation or do you want to get fucked?” he growled.

“Excuse me?” she pretended to be offended.

Suddenly he grabbed her hair at the nape of her neck and tugged. The energy coming from him was palpable. “Listen here, little girl. I thought you wanted this. If you don’t, then say the word now. I can tell you’ve been around the merry-go-round before. What’s your safeword?”

“Red,” she said meekly. She’d always been afraid she’d forget anything fancier.

“Fine, then say it if you want. Say it now and leave. Call Robbin or whatever his name is to come get you because I don’t play games, and I’m not interested in playing them with you.”

Her heart beat loud in her chest. “No, I’m sorry. I’m just chatty, but I’ll be quiet. I promise,” she pleaded. Whether he was really irritated or whether this was part of his intimidating-dom thing, she didn’t know. Either way he’d gotten her adrenaline flowing.
