Realism in Hotwife Tales (or trying to avoid a cock and bull Cuck and Bull story) #Hotwife #Cuckold #Giveaway

Unleashing the Bull cover

By Delores Swallows (Guest Blogger)

Lisabet has kindly invited me to do another guest post on her blog to coincide with the release of my latest novel, Unleashing the Bull.

This is the third and final book in a series called ‘Extramarital Pursuits’ – although when I released the first book I didn’t realise it was going to be a series.

That first book was called Operation Cuckold, and followed the adventures of a couple called Michelle and Harry. It was my first foray into the cuckolding genre.

I’d already written stories that included the subject of wife-sharing—though they were more ‘open marriage’ tales—and many other stories that included voyeurism, which I think is an important element in cuckoldry. However, I didn’t really understand the dynamics within a cuckolding relationship, so I decided to research the subject.

I visited several forums and spent a lot of time reading about all the things couples in the lifestyle get up to. It was enlightening, to say the least. I probably spent a lot more time than was actually necessary, but I justified all my hours learning about what worked for different couples by convincing myself I was being thorough.

For my plot, I imagined that Michelle visited the same forums I’d used and read about the sorts of things that some cucks like. I then had her employing this knowledge to her relationship with Harry without actually considering if it was what he wanted.

Harry got off on seeing her having sex with other men. He didn’t really want any of the things that many cuckolds crave — humiliation, denial, restraint — but he went along with a lot of things that took him out of his comfort zone because he thought they were what Michelle wanted.

The book came out in 2016, and I received numerous nice emails from readers saying they’d enjoyed the book, and that they’d found it authentic (as well as sexy). It’s my best-selling book.

In 2018 I decided to write a sequel, partly because of the success of the first book, but also because I’d grown fond of the characters and thought their story needed continuing.

During my research for Operation Cuckold, I’d learned that not all wife-sharing husbands were ‘cucks’. Some husbands enjoy simply watching their wife with other men without being told their cocks are too small, or being ordered to perform clean-up after the ‘alpha’ has left his deposit.

These guys are called ‘stags’, and their wives (though still hotwives) are referred to as ‘vixens’. Knowing that this was how my character Harry wanted to be, I called the sequel Stag Nights.

I had several scenarios I wanted to include in the second book, so I thought I’d try to improve my research strategy (there’s only so much porn-surfing a pervert can do). I decided to get it from the horse’s mouth.

As I mentioned earlier, I’d written other stories about wife-sharing as well as Operation Cuckold, and as a result I have numerous followers on Twitter who actually live the cuckolding lifestyle. I contacted a few of these to ask if they’d mind sharing their knowledge for a book I was planning to write.

Some were kind enough to agree, and I got both hotwives and cuckolds willing to participate. They were generous with their time, and I’ll always be grateful for the insight they gave me into the lifestyle.

I asked a lot of question — some general, but others more specific regarding certain scenarios I intended putting my characters through. The hotwives and cucks were kind enough to answer not only all of these, but also the follow-up questions I had after getting their initial responses.

Their answers were extremely helpful (and entertaining), but what really stood out—apart from how strong their relationships were—was how varied the dynamics between different couples can be. What works for one couple can be nothing like what works for another.

After Stag Nights had been written and published, I again received several emails from readers saying how accurately they felt I’d portrayed the lifestyle during the experiences of Michelle and Harry. This was all thanks to the people who’d been so generous with their time and knowledge.

At the start of this year, I decided to write the final book in the series. I re-published the first two through KDP, and called the series ‘Extramarital Pursuits’.

Unfortunately for Harry, it wasn’t until the final chapter of Stag Nights that he became aware of the terms ‘stag’ and ‘vixen’. I’d put him through over a hundred thousand words of being cuckolded before a very helpful bull named Ben explained not all husbands enjoy the humiliation and denial that Michelle had assumed was necessary in their relationship.

For the third book and final book in the series, rather than following Harry and Michelle through another set of adventures, I decided to do something a little different. Unleashing the Bull tells the story of how a nice young man called Josh becomes Ben, the bull from the second book.

Chronologically, it runs alongside Stag Nights, with both these books sharing the same scene – though told from different POV’s.

Since Ben was the knowledgeable bull who’d explained things to Michelle and Harry in the second book, I had to show in this one how he acquired all that information. And like in any other job, the best way for my bull to learn his trade was from hands-on experience!

In Unleashing the Bull, Ben services hotwives with a wide variety of dynamics in their relationships with their husbands. I like to think that readers will find it arousing and entertaining, and I’m hoping they’ll also think it feels authentic because a lot of the behaviours and kinks of the different hotwives and cucks my bull services were based upon the answers and insights I got from my research for earlier book in the series.

You can find out more about the latest book below. Meanwhile, I’ll give away one copy of each of the three books to three people who leave comments.

Blurb

When Josh’s ex-girlfriend asks to meet for coffee, his hopes that they might get back together are crushed by news of her whirlwind romance and marriage. He offers his congratulations through gritted teeth, still besotted enough to agree to meet her again just days later.
This time, Olivia’s more provocative, more flirtatious, and she tells him exactly what part of him she misses the most. Caught up in a rush of emotions which steamroll over his morals, he goes back to her upmarket townhouse and indulges in what he’s been missing. Her behaviour—coarser, sluttier—puzzles him, but that doesn’t stop him going back for more.

And then she tells him that her husband wants to meet him.
Josh is stunned to find that her husband is a cuckold who actively encourages their liaisons. Hotwife Olivia, with her husband’s help, convinces Josh that he has the physical attributes and stamina to service not just her, but several of her friends.
Rising to the challenge, he becomes Ben the Bull, and loves every minute of it. As he explains to a friend, his life is full of dates with gorgeous women interested in having hot, dirty sex and nothing more.
Surely, no red-blooded man could want for anything more than that…?

Stand up, Ben.”

He placed his glass on a side table and got to his feet.

Come closer.”

As he walked the few steps from his couch to theirs, Della uncrossed her legs and sat forward. She rubbed her hand over his groin, then undid the zip of his trousers and fished out his cock, which was already starting to swell.

This is rather imposing.” She held it gently between her fingertips and glanced sideways at her husband. “Go to the bedroom and sit in the chair. I’m going to familiarise myself with this.”

Without a word, Samson got up and walked to a door on the back wall.

Della turned her gaze back to Josh’s manhood. She pointed it to one side, leaned in and planted a kiss on the side, near the base. She kissed her way along his shaft until she reached the tip, then parted her luscious red lips and took the head into her mouth.

Josh let out a sigh as she slid her head forward, taking more of him in. His cock was growing by the second and was soon a full-blown erection.

Della released it from her mouth but kept her hand wrapped around the shaft, her eyes now on his face. “I’m glad we’ll be skin on skin.”

Me too.”

Well, as much as I’d like you to fuck me here on the couch, I suppose we’d better go into the bedroom.”

He would have liked nothing more than to roll her dress up to her waist, spread her legs and fuck her right there with her shoes on.

She stood, her face close to his and her hand still gripping his cock. “Samsy’s a traditional cuck, with all the sissy trimmings.”

Although Josh didn’t understand exactly what this meant, he assumed it was her way of warning him there’d be some humiliation. “Okay.”

In the bedroom, which was as impressive as the living room with the same dark wood floor, Samson sat naked in a hard-back chair, facing the bed. A transparent plastic cover was fitted over his cock. It was the first time Josh had seen one in real life, having read a lot about male chastity devices while researching.

Della led Josh to stand facing her, immediately in front of Samson’s chair. She dropped to her knees and, still gripping Josh’s cock in her fist, looked at her husband. “Have you seen this, Samsy?”

Her husband’s eyes were fixed on Josh’s cock.

Can you imagine how I’m going to feel when he pushes this into me?”

Samson swallowed, nodded once.

It’s going to be a tight fit.” Della licked all around the head but kept her eyes on her husband’s. “Just picture this thing forcing its way in, stretching my pretty flower wide open and filling me up.”

She slapped the cock against her cheek several times. “I’m dripping just from the thought of being fucked with this, but I see you’re dripping too, Samsy.”

Josh saw a thread of precum hanging from the end of the device. Della caught it on her finger and pushed it into Samson’s mouth.

Did I say you could dribble?”

Sor—”

Be quiet!”

Samson’s mouth snapped shut and he looked down at the floor.

That’s better.” Della slowly straightened and stood face to face with Josh. Her expression softened. “Now, I think it’s time for us to resume assessing each other’s bodies.” She pushed his jacket back and off. “But this time we’ll do it without clothes.”

Josh stood motionless as Della removed his shirt and unfastened his belt. As his trousers slid down his legs, he stepped out of his shoes and trousers together, now naked. Della stepped back and appraised his body, then looked at her husband, who had another fine string of precum dangling from his plastic cock-cover.

She shared a grin with Josh. “I can hardly reprimand him—I’m dripping even more than he is.”

Gripping the sides of her springy, knitted dress, she pulled downwards. The neck opened and slid down her body, revealing a firm pair of perfect breasts. As the dress rolled further down, Josh saw her narrow waist and then the swell of her hips. She was completely naked underneath, her dark bush neatly trimmed. As she stepped out of her dress, he admired her smooth, muscular legs.

She stepped close to Josh and grabbed his cock, swiping the head against her belly. “Lie down, Ben. Samsy likes to get a good view of my painted lips going up and down on a nice big cock like yours.”

Josh lay flat on the bed, head on the pillow, and Della crawled between his legs.

She kissed her way up his thighs and nuzzled his balls, then took his cock in her hand and looked at her husband. “Ready for this, Samsy?”

Eyes wide and his knees shaking, he nodded.

Without glancing at Josh, Della lowered her head and took him deep into her mouth. Josh shivered and sighed as Della proceeded to treat him to some of the most intense pleasure he could remember. She sucked, licked, slobbered and nibbled until his legs trembled.

By the time she released him, both men were shaking.

And now…” She kicked off her shoes and crawled up the bed, straddling Josh’s thighs without taking her gaze from her husband’s face. “I’m going to help myself to what I’ve been desperate for since my last bull.” She trailed her hand over her sex, then held up the wet fingers, rubbing the tips together to show both men how ready she was. “I’m going to have a big bull cock.”

She manoeuvred herself above Josh’s groin and reached down to swipe his cock through her outer lips, coating the head in her juices. She flashed him a smile before glancing at her husband. “Shall I?”

Samson’s entire body trembled as he gave a nod. Della smiled, then slowly impaled herself. Her eyes fluttered and Josh felt her tight heat envelop him. She groaned theatrically as she pushed down onto the entire length, her head dropping back and her mouth hanging open.

Oh, Samsy,” she whispered, her voice breathless. “This is bliss.” She slowly rocked her hips, letting out moans and whimpers. “I know you want me describe how good it feels, but I’m just going to show you.”

She spread her hands on Josh’s stomach and began to thrust her hips quickly, riding his cock. “I’m going to show you how quickly something this long and thick will bring me off. I’m going to show you just how…”

Josh felt the grip of her climax.

Della grunted and thrust faster, her nails digging painfully into his stomach until she let out a gasp. “Oh, that’s better.” She sighed, shook her head and spoke to her husband, ignoring Josh completely. “I knew it wouldn’t take long to get off with Ben. What shall I do to him now?”

Fuck him.” Samson’s face was solemn. “Twist and squirm and bounce on his cock.”

She smiled. “But you know what’ll happen if I do that.”

He nodded.

Josh felt like he was watching a well-rehearsed performance. They’d probably played this scene out with many bulls.

What’ll happen, Samsy?”

He’ll come.”

She raised her eyebrows, encouraging him to elaborate.

He’ll come in your pussy. He’ll fill you with his cum.”

She nodded slowly. “That’s right, Samsy. He’ll fill me with his cum.”

Charity Sunday: Cure SMA #CharitySunday #SMA @CureSMA

Charity Sunday banner

Welcome to the Charity Sunday blog hop for June!

Today I’ve decided to support the cause that started me doing Charity Sundays. Looking back, I was amazed to discover that was in June of 2017 – three years ago! Anyway, that first Charity Sunday was a post on behalf of my cousin Danny, who was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), a genetic disorder that affects roughly 1 in 11,000 births. SMA is a disease that robs people of physical strength by affecting the motor nerve cells in the spinal cord, taking away the ability to walk, eat, or breathe. It is the number one genetic cause of death for infants.

The majority of babies born with SMA die before they reach their first birthday. Danny was lucky enough to be in trial of the experimental drug Spinraza. He’s now five years old. Although he is still severely disabled, physically, he’s alive and active, going to school, supported by a loving family and an informed medical establishment.

CureSMA is an organization dedicated to fostering research on SMA, providing authoritative information for individuals and families dealing with SMA, and advocating for government policies that assist rather than disadvantage SMA sufferers.

Anyway, for today’s Charity Sunday, I will donate $2 to CureSMA for every comment I receive. And to give you something to comment on, here’s a quick excerpt from my latest release, D&S Duos Book 6. This is a snippet from the first story, “Muse”.

Will you sign my copy of your book?”

Her wrist ached from two hours of autographs and she was desperate for caffeine, but she managed a professional smile. “Of course.”

The last person in a line that had stretched out the door at the start of the event, he didn’t look like her typical reader. His shaggy black hair needed cutting and he could have used a shave. He wore beige zip-up coveralls, a Yankees jacket, and dusty boots. A bit scruffy. Forgettable. His eyes, though, were anything but. They burned in his aquiline face, fierce, passionate, almost crazed. A quiver of unease swept through her. It was a terrible cliché – who would know better than she? – but in the intensity of that stare, she really did feel totally naked.

Smiling more broadly to hide her discomfort, she accepted the paperback he offered. The cover featured a powerfully built man in a leather hood with a scantily-clad blonde kneeling at his feet.

She flipped to the title page: Slave to Love by Melissa Appleton.

To...?”

To my master.” He pitched his voice low. No one else could have heard, but that didn’t stop hot blood from climbing to her cheeks or sudden moisture from soaking her panties.

Excuse me, sir, but I don’t think...” She peered frantically around the bookstore, at the browsing customers and busy clerk. Nobody had noticed. Some force dragged her back to meet the brazen challenge in his eyes.

You should think, Lissa. Is this what you really want?” He made a dismissive gesture toward the volume on the table. “Knotted silk scarves and soft, sweet kisses? Velvet blindfolds and spanking games? ‘Slaves’ who surrender for a half-dozen pages, then go about their lives as though nothing has changed?”

I – my fans – the market...”

Screw the market.” His coarseness made her shudder and yet her nipples snapped into tight, hard peaks as if he’d ordered them to attention. “You want more. I know you do.”

He loomed over the table, an undeniable presence despite his no more than average height. She shrank back into her chair, her pulse loud and fast in her ears, her thighs slippery. “I know you, Lissa. I’ve read every book you’ve written. I’ve watched you, on the street, at readings, working at your computer. You don’t want timid games. You’re afraid to admit it – I understand – but you want marks. Bruises. Blood. You want to be tested, stretched to the breaking point and beyond.”

He captured her right wrist in his big, bony hand. The fountain pen fluttered in her fingers like a caged bird. “Write me your fantasies, and I’ll make them real. Show me your rawest, darkest dreams – all the filthy details. Then trust me to fulfill them.”

Clearly he was mad. Perhaps even dangerous. She should call Jeremy, the manager, or the security guard who was taking a break now that the crowd had dispersed. Somehow she couldn’t move. His grip wasn’t tight. She could have pulled her hand away. But his eyes bored into her and his voice stilled her, holding her transfixed like a pinned insect.

I can’t...” she murmured.

I say you can. If you choose.” He leaned closer, until she felt his warm breath on her face. He smelled of tobacco and wood varnish. “It’s up to you, Lissa, to take the first step.”

Disciple #FlashFiction #Spirituality #Sex

Mary Magdalene

Uh—oh—oh—uh—uh—uh, uh, uh—ah—yes, oh, yes, uh—aaah!”

You all right, honey?”

Oh...oh, yeah, I’m fantastic. Just need a bit of time to recover. Thanks, Miriam. That was sensational—as always. You’re still the best, after all this time.”

That’s sweet of you, Sh’muel. We each serve according to our separate gifts.”

He say that?”

More or less.”

You knew him, didn’t you.”

Very well. Intimately, you might say.”

So...what was he like? Putting aside the hype and all? How did it feel when you were with him?”

Cherished. Beloved. Enveloped in warm, nurturing light.”

You were special to him.”

Everyone felt that way, Sh'muel. That was his gift. Total, unconditional love. Perfect compassion. It didn’t matter who you were, what you did for a living, what country you came from or what gods you worshiped. What so-called sins you had committed. He loved us all. We couldn’t help loving him back.”

Even Judas Iscariot?”

Of course. Poor Judas might have loved him more than anyone. Most of us were too selfish to fulfill the master’s will. We wanted to keep him alive, with us, so we could continue to bask in his incredible light. Even if that undermined his ultimate purpose.”

It must have been hard to let him go.”

Torture. I wept non-stop for two weeks. It felt like my heart had been torn from my body, leaving nothing but a vacant, echoing gap. I wanted to kill myself, to tell you the truth, but I knew he wouldn’t approve. It took a long time before I understood that he really wasn’t gone at all. That his light could never be extinguished—unless I allowed it to be.”

I’m—um—kind of surprised you went back to your old profession. Afterwards, I mean.”

His mother never liked me. She never felt I was good enough for her precious Yeshua. I don’t blame her. We all have our flaws, our blind spots. Anyway, I didn’t feel comfortable with the direction the disciples were taking. Celibacy just doesn’t suit me.”

I’m grateful for that!”

I’ll bet you are, you old goat!”

So, tell me Miriam—what about the sex? Was it different? Better than with an ordinary man?”

You want me to kiss and tell? Naughty boy! I keep your secrets—I’ll certainly keep his. But I will say this—he was as lusty and eager as anyone else. Not the pale, emasculated, passionless figure that some of the communities worship these days. He was flesh and blood, full of juice and joy.”

So what do you think? Was he really the Messiah?”

You know, Sh'muel, I don’t really care. All I know is that everyone he touched was changed for the better. His love kindled ours. We wanted to please him, honor him, and so we tried, in our own poor imperfect way, to be like him. Each according to our gifts. Speaking of which...”

Mmm—oh, that feels so good!”

Looks like you’re ready for another round.”

Oh—ah—oh, God, I’d love to, but until next month’s harvest, I don’t have the shekels to spare.”

It’s on the house, honey. Because you’re such a loyal customer and such a sweet guy.”

Ooh—oh, Miriam! You’re a saint... What can I do in return? Can I give one of next spring’s lambs?”

Just feel my love, Sh'muel. Feel it, and pass it on.”

Beyond the Surface cover

Blurb

Ella is a middle-aged woman with a stagnant career, an exasperated teenage daughter, and a husband that has left to make a new life with another woman. Her first attempt at dating is a disaster, and in an attempt to refocus her life and rediscover her joy, Ella goes fishing. It is here that she meets Dennis, the older, captivating man that ends up saving her life and stealing her heart. But Dennis has a history, and Ella might just be in for the biggest heartbreak of her life if she can not get her emotions under control and face the demons from her own past.

Excerpt

Does it get easier?”

Heartbreak or dating? Either way… it does. I think the hardest thing is the break in routine. People are such comfort creatures. We crave that familiarity, the safeness of what we know. But you’ll eventually set your own routine and get used to not being with him daily. It will get easier. You’ll be able to breathe better. To come across a random piece of clothing left behind and not cry. You’ll meet some guy and the differences between him and your ex won’t make you shudder in disgust.”

He stopped and glanced over at her. She was staring back, her eyes wide and watery and beautiful and her mouth open. Finally, she replied, “You’ve been there.”

And she sensed that he was waiting, anticipating some confession, a purge of all she was feeling. Of course, he would expect that - today she had shared more than was necessary, more than she was comfortable with. It made her feel silly, grimy, and out of her league in speaking to this man towering in front of her. Finally, she said, “It’s fine.”

Review Tuesday: The Angel Baby - #Horror #History #ReviewTuesday

The Angel Baby cover

The Angel Baby by Michael Swanson
2011, Renaissance E-books, Inc.

An elderly woman lying dead in a decrepit shotgun shack, an expression of utter terror frozen on her face. The battered and emaciated corpse of a four-year old girl, discovered floating in the bayou in a plastic storage crate. A Victorian era mansion owned by the ambitious, no-nonsense assistant DA Callie Giesler, haunted by the dark echoes from the past. A powerful, heart-searing apparition, terrifying, disgusting and seemingly unstoppable.

Enter the world of Michael Swanson’s awful, brilliant horror tale, The Angel Baby. Be prepared to shudder.

Horror isn’t one of my favorite genres, though I’m a fan of Clive Barker and Edgar Allen Poe. However, a friend read The Angel Baby, and raved about it, so I thought I’d give it a try. I’m glad that I did. The Angel Baby is carefully plotted, with vivid, three-dimensional characters, cleverly managed suspense and a wonderful sense of place. I will admit that in my ignorance as a New Englander, I’ve always viewed Texas as a bit uniform and boring, but Mr. Swanson brings the history and distinctive atmosphere of his native city Houston to life. His gripping account of the Great Galveston Hurricane in 1900, which killed between 6,000 and 12,000 people in a matter of hours, made a fitting backdrop for his macabre tale of deathless evil.

Most of the novel takes place in present day Houston, which features both upscale mansions and decrepit slums. Bossy and abrasive Callie Giesler is the central character, but the most fascinating of Mr. Swanson’s creations is air-conditioning technician and ghost hunter Noel Guidry, a Hurricane Katerina refugee who has escaped with his wife and daughter from his devastated home city to settle in Houston. When we first meet him and his partner Ray, they’re conducting a highly scientific effort to evaluate, and probably debunk, reports of supernatural phenomena in Callie’s house. However, it soon becomes clear that there’s more to the glib, good-looking black man than meets the eye. Noel’s a seer. He’s had encounters with ghosts and other paranormal entities in the haunted city of his birth. He knows that evil spirits are real, and a real threat to the living.

I don’t want to share too much of the plot, since like most horror tales this one depends to some extent on the element of surprise. I will warn you, though, that there’s no happy ending – that, on the contrary, many of the characters are killed by the Angel Baby, the terrifying and convincing entity at the center of the story.

In fact, many of the most evil creatures in this tale are human beings – cruel, abusive, or heedless individuals who perpetrate terrible crimes, motivated by twisted desire or callous self-interest. In a sense, the Angel Baby is their creation – a reflection of the darkness in some human hearts. Or perhaps, as Noel believes, she is a demon attracted to evil, growing in power as she feeds on human cruelty and fear.

This book made me feel deeply uncomfortable, but I guess that’s why people read horror. I normally read before bed; I found I had to close the e-book file and pick up something lighter, to distract me, before going to sleep, or I’d have disturbing dreams. Nevertheless, despite the very real distress caused by this book, I felt compelled to read to the end – to discover whether evil actually triumphs.

If you’re curious, and brave, get yourself a copy of The Angel Baby, and find out just how dark things can get.

Never trust a demon ... #PNR #ReverseHarem #Giveaway @tinadonahue

Hard Lust covers

Tina Donahue’s latest, a sizzling paranormal reverse harem tale, releases today!

Blurb

Don't ever trust a demon. Unfortunately, Megan has learned that lesson too late. The deal she made to save her sister's life––has landed her in hell temporarily and about seventy years early. And now she has three sexy demons trying to tell her what to do.

Nope. Not going to happen.

These guys have never had to deal with such defiance. Andros figures she's due for some erotic discipline, which he'll happily provide. Racan's pure alpha, his hardcore plans include bondage and submission. Quiet yet intense, Vespar expects endless kink to spice up their carnal play.

Who would have ever expected she'd end up falling for them? Too bad demons can't be trusted...because someone is trying to kill the magic and threatening her stay in this lusty world.

Excerpt

Even during her worst days, Megan Wynters never believed this would happen.

I am so screwed.

Afraid to budge, she stood paralyzed in a garish room decorated in more gold and mirrors than Versailles, a weird symbol she couldn’t decipher painted on bloodred walls. Displayed throughout the cavernous space were countless marble statues depicting nude men and women screwing or going down on each other. Thunderous bass from a death-metal tune pounded through the wall to her left, the pornographic paintings hanging there bouncing on each deafening beat.

She curled her upper lip, turned, and flinched.

A guy who hadn’t been in here a second before, sat in the throne-like chair behind the humongous desk. Early thirties or so, he had hazel eyes and thick blond hair that fell in soft waves to his shoulders. Those suckers and his chest were beyond broad, his well-toned muscles straining against his black silk shirt.

Her stomach fluttered at the astounding picture he created, and then her insides clenched when she recalled where she was.

That didn’t keep her from eyeing him further.

The sun, or a tanning lamp, had tinted his complexion gold, while his features––not only were they masculine, but beautiful enough for an angel.

Down here? In fucking Hell?

Given his great looks, she had to be anywhere but there. Her pulse ticked up. Hope surged.

Someone moaned.

The statue to her right was climaxing. Jeezus. The writhing life-sized figures weren’t stone but people, or demons, or something animate. The pure-white woman threw back her head and wailed. The pasty guy kept pumping his cock into her.

God, God, God. This definitely wasn’t Heaven. But not quite the other place, either, considering the cool air circulating, causing goose bumps to rise on her arms.

Rattled and wary, she faced the guy.

He regarded her mouth and then met her eyes, his searching and engaged.

Unexpected heat rushed through her, her folds creaming at his inviting response, appreciation for his raw male appeal stealing her breath and—

Hold it. She couldn’t be turned on by him. It’s a trick. He’s fucking doing this to me because he’s…

Uncertain what he was, she cringed at the possibilities but still couldn’t glance away.

He stroked an onyx ring on his left forefinger that boasted a dark red symbol—the same as those on the walls—against a black circle.

Which means? Her stomach rolled and wouldn’t stop. She didn’t want an explanation on what the marking signified. It might murder her dream that this wouldn’t turn out too bad.

Already his silence was killing her. Say something. That was definitely preferable to him doing any other fucking thing.

He smiled, producing deep dimples in his cheeks.

Her knees weakened at his normal, friendly greeting. The way a mortal guy might show delight at seeing her, and that maybe this could lead to something good. Conversation, a few laughs, then other great stuff. If he behaved nicely, she wouldn’t mind. Damn, she hadn’t had fun in forever.

Another statue climaxed.

Holy hell. Snapped back to reality, she remembered her presence here was a colossal blunder she had to straighten out. Her mouth was so dry she struggled to speak. “I don’t know who you are, but—”

Andros.” His smooth baritone caressed and enticed. “And you’re Megan.”

She wasn’t admitting to anything.

He glanced at his computer screen. “You waitressed at Sally Jean’s before coming here.” He grinned, making new dimples. “We’ve been waiting for you.”
