Greetings, fellow authors!
If you're feeling bummed out by the US election results, here's something concrete you can do to improve your mood. Coming Together, a non-profit organization that publishes erotic fiction for charitable causes, is putting together a new anthology, Coming Together: Moving On, to benefit the progressive action group MoveOn.org
Here are the details, from Alessia Brio, founder, cover artist, and guiding light for Coming Together.
Themes: civil rights, equality, LGBTQ rights, tolerance, charity, sexual assault, politics, voting rights, immigration... You get the idea.
Targeted publication date: January 20, 2017 (Yes, that's Inauguration Day.)
Reprints that fit the theme(s) are welcome (as long as you own the rights). Limit 2 story and 4 poem submissions per contributor. 10K words max. No min. Include a brief 3rd person bio with attached RTF submission to firstname.lastname@example.org
DEADLINE: December 24, 2015
Cover art coming soon!
PLEASE NOTE: There is no payment for Coming Together submissions. CT asks for one-time, non-exclusive publication rights and offers a free e-copy of the anthology to any contributor who wants one.
If you want more details you can contact me (I've been involved with CT for a decade) or Alessia by email, or leave a comment on this post.
And if you're overjoyed by the election results, well, I apologize for bothering you.
